Core Learning – Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 September 2026 · Please read this before enrolling on or accessing any Core Learning course content.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing a Core Learning course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not enrol in or access any Core Learning course.

2. Ownership of Content

All course materials made available through Core Learning — including written lesson content, PDFs, diagrams, images, videos, podcasts, quizzes, and any other associated materials (collectively, the "Course Materials") — are the intellectual property of Core Learning and its creator, and are protected by South African and international copyright law. Ownership of the Course Materials is not transferred to you at any point, including after purchase or completion of the course.

3. Your Licence to Use the Materials

When you enrol in a Core Learning course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Course Materials for your own individual learning, professional development, and application within your own professional practice. This licence does not permit you to:

These Terms do not prevent you from using general knowledge, skills, concepts, or professional techniques gained through the course in your own professional practice. What is protected is Core Learning's specific expression of that knowledge — its PDFs, diagrams, videos, written wording, and assessments. You may not reproduce, distribute, teach, or commercially exploit the Course Materials themselves without Core Learning's written permission.

4. Enforcement

Downloaded PDFs and other materials may contain a copyright watermark to help identify unauthorised copies. Core Learning may take reasonable steps to identify and address unauthorised copying, sharing, or distribution of Course Materials. Any breach of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the course, without refund, and may be pursued as a copyright infringement matter under applicable law.

5. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. Access to course content is unlocked progressively as you complete each module's assessment. Core Learning reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to be in breach of these Terms.

6. Fees, Refunds and Cancellations

Course fees are payable in full at the time of enrolment. Once payment has been made and access to the course has been granted, no refunds will be issued, regardless of how much of the course has been completed. Please ensure you are ready to commit to the course before enrolling.

7. Certification

Completion of a Core Learning course and any associated assessment requirements may result in the issue of a certificate of completion or certification, subject to the requirements applicable to that course. Certification does not constitute a licence to practise a regulated profession and does not replace any qualification, registration, accreditation, or professional requirement imposed by law or by a relevant professional body.

8. No Professional Advice

Course content is provided for educational purposes as part of a coaching/training certification and does not constitute medical, legal, or other professional advice. Applying the concepts taught in this course to real clients or athletes remains the sole responsibility of the coach. Participation in the course, and application of any knowledge, techniques, exercises, or recommendations obtained through it, is undertaken at the user's own professional discretion and responsibility.

9. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Core Learning does not guarantee any particular professional, business, performance, employment, or client outcome as a result of completing a course.

10. Changes to Course Content

Core Learning may update, revise, or improve the Course Materials from time to time. We aim to keep enrolled students' access current, but do not guarantee that every historical version of a lesson remains available indefinitely.

11. Limitation of Liability

Course Materials are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Core Learning is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Course Materials. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right or protection you may have under South African consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with course enrolment and access will be handled in accordance with Core Learning's Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms, or to report suspected unauthorised distribution of Course Materials, can be sent to info@corelearning.co.za.
